1. Agreement and eligibility
By creating an account or using PADDOCK, you enter an agreement with the person or entity identified as the developer on PADDOCK's Google Play listing and agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be legally able to enter this agreement. If you use PADDOCK for an organization, you represent that you can bind that organization.
2. Motorsport safety
Motorsports are dangerous. PADDOCK is an information and recording tool, not a substitute for training, track rules, vehicle inspection, professional timing equipment, or sound judgment. Use recording and telemetry features only where lawful and permitted. Mount devices securely, configure the app before moving, obey officials, and never interact with a phone while driving.
GPS, OBD, sensor, calculated timing, map, weather, and leaderboard results may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Do not use PADDOCK telemetry for emergency, navigation, vehicle-control, wagering, regulatory, or safety-critical decisions.
3. Accounts
Provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may require verification, limit features, or suspend access to protect the service and its users.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant PADDOCK a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt for technical purposes, display, and distribute that content as necessary to operate and promote the service according to your visibility choices. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload the content, including footage, audio, vehicle data, and information about other people.
5. Acceptable use
You may not:
- harass, threaten, impersonate, exploit, or endanger another person;
- upload unlawful, infringing, deceptive, malicious, or privacy-invasive content;
- access another account or private data without authorization;
- interfere with, overload, reverse engineer where prohibited, or bypass service security;
- automate access in a way that harms PADDOCK or other users; or
- use telemetry or community features to facilitate unsafe or unlawful street racing.
We may remove content and restrict accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these rules, protect users, or comply with law.
6. Third-party services and hardware
PADDOCK may connect to third-party accounts, websites, maps, cameras, GPS receivers, OBD adapters, and other hardware. Their terms, privacy practices, compatibility, availability, and accuracy are outside PADDOCK's control. You are responsible for using those products lawfully and safely.
7. Service changes
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features and may impose reasonable limits to maintain security, reliability, or legal compliance. Beta or prerelease features may be incomplete and can change without notice.
8. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, PADDOCK is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or telemetry accuracy. To the extent permitted by law, PADDOCK and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost data or profits, vehicle damage, personal injury, or losses caused by track activity, device use, third-party products, or reliance on telemetry. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
9. Ending use
You may stop using PADDOCK at any time and request account deletion at the account deletion page. We may suspend or terminate access for material or repeated violations, security threats, legal requirements, or prolonged service discontinuation. Provisions that by their nature should survive will remain effective.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. Continued use after an updated version takes effect means you accept the updated terms where permitted by law. Questions can be sent to support@paddock-social.com.
