1. Scope
This policy applies to PADDOCK's Android application, website, and related services. PADDOCK is operated by the person or entity identified as the developer on PADDOCK's Google Play listing. This policy covers information you provide, information generated when you use PADDOCK, and data you choose to import from connected services or motorsport hardware.
2. Information we process
- Account and profile: email address, username, display name, profile photo, biography, privacy settings, and authentication identifiers.
- Motorsport content: vehicles, events, runs, lap and sector times, comments, messages, photos, videos, telemetry files, and content you share.
- Location and sensor data: precise or approximate location, speed, heading, altitude, acceleration, rotation, and timestamps when you use location, event, or recording features.
- Connected devices: Bluetooth scan and connection information, device names and identifiers, OBD vehicle data, external GNSS data, and camera connection details for hardware you select.
- Media: camera video and optional microphone audio only when you enable the corresponding recording features.
- Activity and diagnostics: interactions, follows, likes, event participation, notification state, device and browser information, crash information, security events, and service logs.
- Connected services: information you authorize PADDOCK to receive from services such as MotorsportReg, Google, or YouTube.
3. How we use information
We use information to authenticate users; record, analyze, synchronize, and display runs; provide event, garage, community, messaging, leaderboard, and sharing features; operate connected-device workflows; maintain safety and security; prevent abuse; diagnose failures; comply with law; and improve PADDOCK.
PADDOCK does not use location, Bluetooth, camera, or microphone access for continuous background surveillance. Those permissions support user-selected app features. Android may continue a visibly indicated recording or transfer when needed to finish an action you started.
4. Visibility and sharing
Information you mark public may be visible to other users and on public web pages. Private and unlisted settings limit product visibility but do not prevent processing required to host, secure, synchronize, or back up your data.
We may disclose information:
- to vendors that host, authenticate, secure, analyze, or deliver the service, including Google and Firebase services;
- to connected services when you deliberately link an account or request an export or upload;
- to other users according to the audience and privacy choices you select;
- when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, PADDOCK, or the public; or
- as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or transfer of the service, subject to appropriate notice and safeguards.
Advertising providers may process cookies, advertising identifiers, or interaction data where advertising is enabled, subject to their policies and applicable consent choices.
5. Storage, security, and retention
PADDOCK uses technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information, but no internet or storage system is perfectly secure. We retain information while it is needed to operate your account, provide requested features, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, meet legal obligations, and maintain limited backups. Retention may vary by data type and legal requirement.
6. Your choices and deletion
You can change profile visibility, disconnect optional integrations, remove content where controls are available, and request deletion of your account and associated data through the account deletion page. Some information may be retained when required for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or backup rotation. Content other users have independently shared may remain in their accounts.
7. Children
PADDOCK is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided information should contact us.
8. International use and regional rights
Information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete personal information, or to appeal a privacy decision. Contact us to exercise a right that is not available in the product.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as PADDOCK changes. We will revise the effective date and provide additional notice when required. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to support@paddock-social.com.
